HOW TO FUND THIS WORK
Democracy Day is housed at the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University. The Center is a primarily grant-funded organization.
In 2022 and 2023, Democracy Day was funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Democracy Fund, which gave a combined $145,000 to support the effort.
For 2024, Democracy Day received support from Hearken. The Center is currently seeking to raise a total of $200,000 to fund Democracy Day during a pivotal year for American democracy. If you are interested in contributing to that goal, please contact Stefanie Murray at [email protected] to arrange a grant or gift.
