COLLABORATIVE JOURNALISM RESOURCE HUB

Meet the team behind the Hub

The mission of the Collaborative Journalism Resource Hub is to advance the field of collaboration in journalism across the United States.

The Collaborative Journalism Resource Hub, housed at the Center for Cooperative Media, was established in 2025. The goal is to create sustainable models for local news collaboratives that directly benefit the communities they serve. We focus on catalyzing sustainable models that attract local support and investment. We measure the success of collaboratives by their financial sustainability and their impact on the community.

The future of journalism is collaborative. We’re here to help make that future sustainable, impactful, and community-focused.

About the Hub

The Collaborative Journalism Resource Hub is a project of the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University, supported by the Knight Foundation. Since 2017, we’ve been studying and supporting collaborative journalism through research, events, resources, and direct support to newsrooms. Learn more about our work at collaborativejournalism.org.
